Joe Janciuras fly reels are now considered to be one of the highest
quality reels made by modern era craftsmen. The attention to detail on his
Edward vom Hofe "Perfection" fly reels reflects the artistry of this man's work.
It is made of German silver and hard rubber. Janciuras also made an all metal
Edward vom Hofe style reel with raised pillars. It has aluminum head and tail
end plates. He made his reels from about 2005 until his death in 2011. Joe is considered to
be one of the great New
York state reel makers.
