Jim Pfeffer Lures

Jim Pfeffer, Orlando, FL

Jim Pfeffer made lures in Orlando, Florida from the 1930's up until the 1960's. The earliest ones have cup-rigged hook hardware and the later ones use surface rig hardware. Lures made in the 1930's and early 1940's were all painted by hand. The Florida Shiner is the most common Pfeffer lure and also the most ornate. Jim made a wide range of lures from fly rod size to Sail Fish Shiner and King Banana sizes. His hand-carved Sunfish is the most sought after Jim Pfeffer lure.
